Innovative hill & high country farming families remain the backbone of our large animal business. You won’t find any dairy cows among our patients, but you will find no end of superbly bred fine wool sheep, beef cattle & working dogs, along with deer. We’re also increasingly busy with equine clients.
Small animal surgery & medicine has long been one of our strengths. We’re proud to offer laproscopic surgery, stem cell therapy, dermatology, radiology, & canine reproduction (fresh & frozen semen) as well as advanced orthopaedics.
Mark Wiseman has completed graduate training in radiology, & has extensive training & experience in orthopaedic surgery. Elizabeth Patterson-Green has almost completed her Master of Veterinary Science, with particular interest & experience in opthamology, endocrinology & dentistry. Director Stuart Burrough has attained Membership of the Australian & NZ College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine; attended a Practitioner in Residence Programme at the University of Florida & is trained in PennHIP.
Designed to BESTPRACTICE specification in 1997, & sited in the centre of Blenheim, ours was one of the first purpose-built vet clinics in NZ. Today it remains as highly functional as ever, providing a modern, well-equipped workplace.
From D’Urville Island and the outer reaches of the Marlborough Sounds to iconic inland high country stations, we serve a part of NZ like no other. As for lifestyle, recreation & climate, we’re pretty spoiled in that regard, too.
