Sleek, spacious & highly functional, our new 410m2 clinic opened for business November 2019. We love it, & so do our clients & patients. From front of house to surgery, it’s designed to carry our business into the future, & has been fitted out accordingly. 

Kamo has six FTE mixed-practice vets, well-managed & supported by five nurses & admin personnel. Opening hours are Mon to Sat. We’re Best Practice accredited.   

All our farmers are hands-on owner operators. Most are dairying, milking on average 400 cows. Spring calving remains dominant, but autumn calving is on the rise. This is a unique region for dairy practice, thanks to our climate & geographical variation. No two farms are alike!

Whangarei is thriving, & with it, the demand for more & better small animal services. This is an exciting area of growth for us, especially now we have the new clinic. 

Northland is renowned for outdoor pursuits. We have some of NZ’s best, most beautiful coastal playgrounds at our back door, & if world-class diving & deep-sea fishing aren’t enough, check out the white sand beaches & native bush for surfing, sailing, kayaking, mountain-biking & hiking.

They don’t call it the winterless north for nothing. On the rare occasions we do get a frost, it makes the news.
